Integración con WhatsApp

Free messaging, rich media, and two-way replies — all via WhatsApp Business.

For salons in regions where WhatsApp dominates (most of the Middle East, Iran, Latin America, parts of Europe), use WhatsApp Business API for reminders and campaigns instead of SMS. It's cheaper, supports rich media (photos of new looks, location pins), and customers can reply directly to confirm.

WhatsApp messages have ~98% open rates and zero per-message cost on the standard plan — making it the highest-ROI channel for any salon.

Step-by-step

  1. 1. Get a WhatsApp Business number

You need a phone number that is NOT already registered with the consumer WhatsApp app. Most salons use their existing landline or buy a dedicated mobile number for marketing.

  2. 2. Verify with Meta Business

Settings → WhatsApp → Connect. We launch you into Meta's embedded sign-up. Confirm your business details, verify the phone number via SMS code, and select the WhatsApp Business Account.

  3. 3. Approve message templates

Meta requires pre-approved templates for outbound reminders. We provide ready-to-go templates ("Appointment reminder", "Booking confirmed", "Re-engage after 60 days") in 8 languages — one click to submit them all for approval. Approval typically takes 1–24 hours.

  4. 4. Configure reminder schedule

Same as SMS reminders — toggle 24h and 2h before. Pick a per-customer default: WhatsApp first, SMS fallback if WhatsApp fails (the safest setting).

  5. 5. Two-way replies and the Inbox

Customer replies land in the Inbox. Confirm, reschedule, or chat one-on-one — all logged on the customer profile. Multiple staff can answer; the assigned name shows on the conversation.

  6. 7. When Meta refuses

Save & Verify reads the Business Account (review status, who manages it, payment method, display name and number status) and whether your Meta app is connected, with a Connect button. A template refusal shows Meta's full message and code. "Run full diagnostics" reads everything Meta exposes in one pass and names the most likely cause with its fix; "Register this number" registers an unregistered number with a 6-digit PIN. A number still used in the WhatsApp Business app on a phone cannot be used: use a separate number, or remove it from the app and add it in WhatsApp Manager.

  7. 6. Marketing campaigns (24-hour window rules)

WhatsApp's rules are stricter than SMS for marketing: you can only send marketing messages in the 24h after a customer last messaged you, OR using a pre-approved marketing template. Our campaigner enforces this automatically — pick a template and we'll send to eligible recipients only.

Frequently asked

Is WhatsApp cheaper than SMS?

Yes — for most regions, dramatically. Meta charges per conversation, not per message: ~$0.005–$0.04 per 24-hour conversation depending on country and category, vs. SMS at $0.05–$0.15 per message. For a salon sending 10 reminders + 1 reply per booking, WhatsApp costs ~5–20× less.

What if my customer doesn't use WhatsApp?

Set "WhatsApp first, SMS fallback" in Settings → Reminders. We try WhatsApp; if delivery fails (no app, account closed, etc.), we automatically resend by SMS within 60 seconds.

Can I send photos and locations?

Yes — both for reminders (e.g. salon location pin) and replies (e.g. a photo of the freshly applied colour for confirmation). Photos count as a single conversation, not extra cost.

Will customers see "via WhatsApp Business" markers?

They'll see the green check next to your business name and your business profile. Most customers find this more trustworthy, not less.
