Loyalty Club

Reward repeat customers automatically — points, tiers, and free services.

A points-and-tiers loyalty system that runs in the background. Customers earn points per dollar spent, climb tiers (Bronze → Silver → Gold), and redeem against future services. The whole thing runs at the POS without manual tracking.

Activated loyalty members spend ~30% more and visit ~50% more often. Setting it up takes 5 minutes.

Step-by-step

  1. 1. Turn it on

Settings → Loyalty Club → Enable. Choose your points-per-dollar ratio (default: 1 point per $1) and your redemption value (default: 100 points = $5).

  2. 2. Set tiers and rewards

Bronze (default), Silver (250 pts), Gold (1000 pts). Each tier can have a discount %, a free service, priority booking, or just bragging rights. Add as many tiers as you want.

  3. 3. Customers auto-enrol

Anyone with a phone number on file is auto-enrolled. They see their tier and points balance via SMS, on the public booking page after they enter their phone, and on receipts.

  4. 4. Earn rules

Earn rate can vary by service category. Default is flat (1 point per $1) but you can boost specific categories — e.g. 2× on retail products to push retail attachment.

  5. 5. Birthday and anniversary bonuses

Settings → Loyalty Club → Special days. Toggle on a 50-point birthday bonus and a 100-point loyalty anniversary bonus (1 year since first visit). Both auto-trigger and surprise customers.

  6. 6. Redemption at the POS

At the POS, tap "Loyalty" on the customer panel → "Redeem" → choose how many points to apply. Cash equivalent is calculated automatically and deducted from the bill. Partial redemptions are fine.

  7. 7. SMS / WhatsApp tier-up notifications

When a customer crosses a tier threshold, an automated message goes out: "You're now a Gold member at Glamour Nails — enjoy 10% off your next visit." Increases re-booking rates measurably.

Frequently asked

Do points expire?

Optional. Default is "no expiry". You can set 12-month, 24-month, or "expire 12 months after last visit" under Settings → Loyalty Club → Expiry rules.

Can I run a double-points day?

Yes. Marketing → Promotions → New Promotion → Double Points. Pick the date range. The POS automatically applies the boost during the promotion window.

What happens to points when I refund a sale?

Points earned on the refunded portion are automatically reversed. If they were already redeemed, the redemption is reversed too — the customer ends up exactly where they were before the original sale.

Can I import existing loyalty balances from another system?

Yes. Settings → Data → Import → Loyalty balances. Provide a CSV with phone number + current points; we attach the balance to existing customers and create records for new ones.
